Do you need a church building to “do church”?  Is it the height of coolness to have church in a movie theater ..or a bowling alley…coffee shop or even a bar?

Will people come to “church’  in a non-traditional setting who wouldn’t darken the doors of a church building.

Today,  Stu Epperson welcomes Nate Berry who has started  a church that meets in a movie theater.  We’ll find out why he did it and we’ll look forward to hearing from you, especially if you think it’s not a great idea.

Ever been persecuted for your faith?  Billy Graham Paulose and his family can tell you personal stories of persecution that would turn your stomach.

Persecution is more than just an abstract term it’s living reality for thousands of Christians living in India.

The picture above was taken in Orissa where 800 churches and more than 1,500 homes of Christians were destroyed by radical Hindus.

But God is doing an amazing work across India through organizations like Body of Christ Ministries International. We’ll hear some of those stories on today’s edition of Truthtalk Live.

Michael Lovic (left with Stu) was diagnosed with stage four colon cancer.  He lost 60 pounds during his battle and his surgery but never his smile…or his faith.

Today we’ll hear his story and also meet the Sunday school teacher who walked with him every step of the way.

Some words of hope, encouragement and inspiration for you on today’s edition of Truthtalk Live.

If you can’t get through at (866) 34-TRUTH, post  your story of faith in the midst of adversity for others to read.

100_1319It began when Tim & Jody Cross went on a short term missions trip with their church in the spring of 2000.  Within one year, they had sold their house, two cars and much of their furniture and moved overseas.  After serving as missionaries in Belgium and London , they returned to the United States and began praying about what God would have them do next.

Instead of returning to the mission field overseas, God brought the mission field to them. Tim & Jody have started a new ministry to newly arriving refugees to this country.

Several months ago Open Arms Refugee Ministries welcomed its first refugee family to the United States. today more than 100 Iraqi’s meet together weekly for worship in their own language.  Dozens of refugee children are seeing bible stories unfold before their eyes for the first time.

Tim & Jody are affiliated with the North American Mission Board.  Watch a short video interview with Tim & Jody HERE. And a video produced by “World Relief” features many of the refugees in Winston-Salem, NC is located HERE.
