Did you get some personal face time with Stu this week? A LOT of people did and you’ll get a chance to listen in on some of those conversations. Stu is back from a trip to the west coast and while he was there he visited with Jay Flowers, Director of Communication with Grace to You, John Macarthur’s radio ministry.
He also caught up with his mentor, Scott Ardavanis, pastor of Placerita Baptist Church in Newhall, California.
And what would a trip to California be without a nostalgic visit to Stu’s alma mater, The Master’s College.
There, he caught up with businessman Norb Brown of Servicemaster Clean, a man who’s business and ministry are inextricably linked together.
Stu also spent some time with pastor and author Alexander Strauch.
For over forty years he has served as an elder at Littleton Bible Chapel near Denver, Colorado. Additionally, he has taught philosophy and New Testament literature at Colorado Christian University. A gifted Bible teacher and popular speaker, Mr. Strauch has helped thousands of churches worldwide through his expository writing ministry.
He is the author of Biblical Eldership, The New Testament Deacon, Men and Women: Equal Yet Different, The Hospitality Commands, Agape Leadership (with Robert L. Peterson), Meetings That Work, Leading with Love, and Love or Die: Christ’s Wake-up Call to the Church.
Closer to home Stu visits with North Carolina Supreme Court Justice Paul Newby (picture right).
And Stu also spent some time with Jimmy Renslow, a dynamic young pastor in Greensboro, NC to talk about a different way to “do church”. Renslow is pastor of the church at 5:14. And don’t worry, he’ll explain what that means.
