Stu’s guest is Bill McKeever, Director of Mormonism Research Ministry www.mrm.org , a Christian organization he founded in 1979 that is based in the Salt Lake City area. His interest in Mormonism began when his Mormon friends attempted to proselytize him into the LDS faith shortly after his conversion to Christianity in 1973 . The more he discussed spiritual issues with his LDS friends, the more concerned for them he became. Bill is the author of Answering Mormons’ Questions, co-author of Mormonism 101, and compiler for the newly released In Their Own Words: A Collection of Mormon Quotations. A trip to Darfur changed Stu’s life and his enthusiasm was “caught” by a group of students at Mt. Tabor High School (Winston-Salem, NC). They belong to a national organization known as STAND (Students Taking Action Now for Darfur).

John Piper is the Pastor for Preaching at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He grew up in Greenville, South Carolina, and studied at Wheaton College, where he first sensed God’s call to enter the ministry. He went on to earn degrees from Fuller Theological Seminary (B.D.) and the University of Munich (D.theol.).
