Today on Truth Talk Live dot com we go from college all the way to retirement. Don’t worry Stu is not retiring nor is he going back to college. But we have a visit from a couple of radical men who have some radical ideas about God’s leading in their lives.
You may recognize Chuck Peters from a show we did last year on “Retirement or Full-Time Ministry”, but our newest friend and guest on Truth Talk Live dot com is Joshua Ladd.
Joshua is going to college but not to your normal university or college like the typical high school graduate. He is headed all the way Guam. Find out more about this in the broadcast.
Also, Chuck Peters which we learned on his last visit whereas the “typical” person his age is taking it easy, playing golf, and sitting in the rocking chair, Chuck is taking his “retirement” to the mission field. And find out what he’s been up to lately on the broadcast.
Today’s show we hope challenges you to “step up to the plate” and go beyond the ordinary and live a life that would be worthy of the Savior saying “Well done, thy good and faithful servant”.
Many of us have heard of the legend of the “Lost Boys” but on this edition of Truth Talk Live dot com we visit with a few of the “Lost Boys”.
We’ll take a journey back to the Sudan with our friends Miriak Chuor, and Anthony Anei Majok. These gentlemen have been shot at, enslaved, and even had their family members killed just for believing in Christ.
Join Stu as we listen to their stories and be taken back by the horrors they have gone through. And then stand in amazement to the forgiveness they give to those who have done these atrocities to their country and even their own families which can only come from Christ.
Stu’s guest is Bill McKeever, Director of Mormonism Research Ministry www.mrm.org , a Christian organization he founded in 1979 that is based in the Salt Lake City area. His interest in Mormonism began when his Mormon friends attempted to proselytize him into the LDS faith shortly after his conversion to Christianity in 1973 . The more he discussed spiritual issues with his LDS friends, the more concerned for them he became. Bill is the author of Answering Mormons’ Questions, co-author of Mormonism 101, and compiler for the newly released In Their Own Words: A Collection of Mormon Quotations. He is also the editor of MRM’s newsletter, Mormonism Researched, occasional contributor to MRM’s blog site, Mormon Coffee and a contributing writer to the Christian Research Journal. For our listeners in the Salt Lake City area….Check out the Compassionate Boldness click HERE for more info.
We are in a time where the Christian leader is more out of touch with Scripture than at perhaps any other time in history. Leaders are being bombarded with messages that attempt to take them away from living an integrated life as a Christian. On today’s broadcast, Stu welcomes author Bill Bliss who has written a book focused on key leadership lessons found in God’s Word including practical ways for today’s leader to apply these lessons to their lives and organizations.
Personhood – It’s on the cutting edge of the pro- life movement and it could be the key to nullifying abortion provisions in President Obama’s health care plan.
Joining Stu on this show is talk show host Bob Enyart .
Today on Truthtalk Live..Its the battle of the Christian talk show hosts and they’re in the same corner on this one. Where do you stand?

For more than 30 years, WorldServe Ministries has been privileged to be a part of God’s work, focusing very much on countries closed or those that have restricted access to the gospel. We willingly lose our identity and operate within the framework of the local church utilizing the principles below to maximize effectiveness. As always thanks for listening!

We start this show with some “bonus coverage” of Stu witnessing to Jew that called in on a previous show, and then we round out our show with Peter Vanacore of The National Association of Christian Mentoring.
It’s been 11 years since the Columbine High School massacre, so in retrospect how do we respond to events like these that “shake” the nation?
Today on Truthtalklive.com we speak with John Phillips who was the uncle of Rachel Scott who was killed in this tragedy. Stu talks with John about the loss and not only how it happened but how John responded with a program in public schools called Life Choices. The program reveals the choices the young men and women have in Christ and bring that out through this awful tragedy. Stu also speaks with David Parsons who works young people in the triad of North Carolina and find out more about his ministry HERE.
Also we speak with Dr. Dwayne Reece of the Corporate Chaplains of America and how they are making a difference in the workplace, and in neighborhoods across America.
“My name is Warren and I’m a recovering evangelical.”
That’s how Warren Cole Smith opens his book “A Lover’s Quarrel with the Evangelical Church” . From body count evangelism to the Christian industrial complex, Warren has some issues with the American church today and he is calling “her” to repentance. A voice in the wilderness or the voice of reason?
Has Christianity become big business and is that necessarily a bad thing? Stu Epperson takes on Warren and feel free to post your comment here.
Ray Comfort does and he’ll share it with you on this edition of Truthtalk Live.com
He advocates a radical approach to evangelism that could be the missing dimension needed to win our generation to Christ. Discover the secret to leading others to genuine repentance, and make each moment of your life count for the kingdom of God.
Comfort is the best-selling author of more than 60 books. He is also the co-host of an award-winning television program (with actor Kirk Cameron) called “The Way of the Master” which is seen in 70 countries. Ken authored St. Peter’s Bones, a book that tells the story of Iraq’s beleaguered Christian community through the joys and fears of one family, while exploring the ambiguities of America’s continued presence in that country as deepening tensions between Kurds and Arabs that risk plunging Iraq into another civil war.
With all the turmoil going on in this world how can we pray? How can we have that connection with God?
Stu sat down recently with author and speaker Sarah Bush to look at the different aspects of prayer by scripture and look to how you can improve your every day prayer life.
Michael Lovic (left with Stu) was diagnosed with stage four colon cancer. He lost 60 pounds during his battle and his surgery but never his smile…or his faith.
Today we’ll hear his story and also meet the Sunday school teacher who walked with him every step of the way.
Some words of hope, encouragement and inspiration for you on today’s edition of Truthtalk Live.

According to Ethan Pope, the mismanagement of our nation’s abundance of wealth is incomprehensible, intolerable, imprudent, reckless, corrupt, foolish, destructive, destabilizing, and unacceptable.
And, he says, unless our Congressional leaders make radical changes to bring federal spending under control, it will soon become mathematically impossible for our nation to avoid bankruptcy.

Prayer…or Porn? I’m Offended!
By Stuart Epperson, Jr.
If you’re offended by prayer at a county commissioners’ meeting, you’re in luck! A multi-million dollar, pro-bono, tax-exempt, legal powerhouse known as the ACLU will fight for you! If you’re offended by porn in a text book or at a public art gallery, tough luck! The ACLU will defend the porn. Why do they want to censor prayer but not porn?
Why would the ACLU, which, by the way, stands for the American Civil Liberties Union, be advocating censorship and intolerance at all?
And now they have sued you and me, the citizens of Forsyth County. The ACLU wants to censor the speech of a Muslim cleric, a Hindu priest, a Jewish rabbi, or a Methodist minister.
Some of these prayers may even offend me! But does the constitution give me a right ‘not’ to be offended? Of course not! Is not this pluralism of expression and tolerance what makes America great? Even the United States Congress has opened with these offensive ‘sectarian’ prayers for over 140 years. And how many converts or government sponsored churches have resulted? The answer: zero.
Unless our elected officials stand up to this bully, the ACLU will have its way. Yes to porn and NO to prayer!
Beaufort Bailey, Walter Marshall and Ted Kaplan — three of your elected officials — have been against appealing the case on “political” grounds.
Friends, this is not about politics. It’s not about Republican or Democrat, right or left. It’s about “right or wrong”! It’s about free speech versus censorship.
Commissioners, please stand with us. The voters and the taxpayers of Forsyth County in protecting the right to freedom of expression. Freedom is always worth the price it takes to defend it!
It cost our founders a lot more than a few taxpayer dollars; many lost their very lives. Let’s send the ACLU bullies home so they can go back to defending porn and stop destroying prayer!
Plans for a mosque at ground zero appear to be progressing despite an outpouring of rage and disbelief from opponents.
Others, including New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, say the mosque should be built BECAUSE of our American core values. What do you think?

And are Christians equally guilty? From Christian musicians to superstar pastors, we seem to have a penchant for putting people on pedestals. Is that okay? Stu wants to talk today about vicarious attraction vs. vicarious atonement. He’ll take your calls at 866-34-TRUTH or you can leave us your comments online.
A recent article from Religion News Service reports that some Christians and even some preachers are struggling with doubts about their faith.
This trend seems to plague people from both liberal and conservative denominations.
Today, guest host Alex McFarland, President of Southern Evangelical Seminary and host of “Sound Rezn“, a nationally-syndicated talk program, examines our question of the day and takes your calls at (866) 34-TRUTH…and if you can’t get through, you can leave us your comments online.
He’s called into Truthtalk Live before. His name is Flip and he’s a professing atheist from Utah.
Today’s program features a conversation between Flip and Stu Epperson that continued long after a recent program went off the air.
On the second half of today’s program, Stu welcomes one the best known defenders of the faith, Hank Hannegraph.
Hank serves as president and chairman of the board of the North Carolina-based Christian Research Institute International. He is also host of the Bible Answer Man radio program, which is broadcast daily across the United States and Canada—as well as around the world through the Internet at www.equip.org.
Doesn’t all truth ultimately find it’s origins in the divine? Isn’t it interesting how His fingerprints keep showing up in almost everything in the secular media.
Are you ready for this bonus? Well, buckle in for an hour packed full of bonuses. After some recent shows we had some power packed moment that were recorded that we want to share with you.
During the first half of the show Stu talks with a Jewish man who is unsaved join us on this conversation which starts on a completely different topic but as opportunity comes never miss it to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Next things get heated up when Stu speaks with a Unitarian Universalist pastor who was standing up for gay rights during a recent show concerning the YMCA.
Following that on a fun note we kept the recorder going about a recent show on church signs with Bryan H. Rhoden which is the author of the book Signs of the Times.
Finally, we will wrap up the show with a special visit Stu had with Dr. Gary Chapman famous author of the book The Five Love Languages and host of the Building Relationships Broadcast.
Hope you enjoy your bonus! Please feel free to leave your comments here.
Imagine this…first you lose your job, then three days later you are diagnosed with multiple myeloma. Next comes radiation and chemo treatments. After that you spend 31 days in the hospital just trying to manage the pain. The expenses are overwhelming and you have no income to pay the bills. What do you do? Where do you go? The government? Social services?
How about the Church!
The Amish take care of their own, as the Bible commands…they don’t buy insurance and they don’t take government handouts. Why don’t the rest of us Christians try to do it that way?
Today on Truth Talk Live join guest host Steve Noble, host of the nationally-syndicated radio program Called to Action This Week, as we will hear the story of a group of North Carolina Christians who are doing just that! This Saturday they are holding a fundraiser at a local church to help their friend, Ernie Baker. Should we be doing more of this within the Church?
After today’s show the Lord may lead you to make a donation to help out Ernie and his wife Linda. Just make a check out to Stony Hill Baptist Church and mail it to: 7521 Stony Hill Road, Wake Forest NC 27587. Questions? Call Patti O’Reilly at 919-601-0709.
For today’s show call 877-44-TRUTH or feel free to comment online.
Why should Christians vote? Why should Christians be involved in politics? Shouldn’t Christians just do their Christian duty and just be involved in church?
Today on Truth Talk Live, Stu speaks with Dr. Gary and Barb Rosburg. In light of yesterday’s show, much has changed since those words were put into the pledge of allegiance. On Today’s show Robby Dilmore AKA The Christian Car Guy hosts Tim Lee, wheel chair Marine Pastor, along with Jim Israel another Vietnam Veteran with a moving story to Share. Below is Tim’s story
“To escape the world around him, he joined the Marine Corps in 1969. After his training, he received orders to serve in southeast Asia. In March of 1971, he was apprehended by the hand of God along an abandoned grassy trail in Quang Nam Province, Vietnam. In that moment, engulfed in smoke, fire and holy vengeance, a land mine explosion severed two lower limbs, and placed in a wheelchair for life a young man who was to carry, without legs, a message from God to a nation.
After his call to preach in 1973, and following a year of itinerant evangelistic preaching, Tim Lee pastored for five years in southern Illinois before surrendering to the full-time ministry of evangelism in 1979. The results in the lives of people was almost immediate as the former Marine began to stir and challenge God’s people across the country. People of all ages listened; among them teenagers, the professional person, United States Congressmen and Senators, Governors, Mayors and elected officials. They heard a clear, uncompromising message grounded deep in old fashioned patriotism, righteous living and biblical revival.”
The separation of church and state issue has found a new platform as a statewide billboard campaign in North Carolina is drawing national attention.
The N.C. Secular Association, a coalition that includes atheist and agnostic groups as well as some members of faith, is behind the billboard campaign which features the organization’s website. One billboard is Charlotte, N.C. was vandalized recently when the words “under God” were painted onto it. See related article HERE.
Today, Stu Epperson is joined by Alex McFarland, President of Southern Evangelical Seminary and host of “Sound Rezn“, his own nationally-syndicated talk program to talk about the billboards and the latest controversy and they’ll dialogue with Jim Moury, founder of a skeptics group called FACT (Forsyth Area Critical Thinkers) Call in during today’s program at 866-34-TRUTH or feel free to leave your comments online.
There are many reasons for leaving a church as there are people who leave churches in our contemporary evangelical culture.
The music was too contemporary…the music was too traditional…the building was too cold…there was never a good place to park…there were just old people there…the people weren’t friendly…the people were too in-your-face…all they talked about was money…the lines were too long for the doughnuts and lattes..the tread mills in their praisenasium were always broken…the sermons were too long…
Is there EVER a GOOD reason to leave a church?
How about…..They didn’t preach the gospel…They didn’t hold the Bible up as the Word of God… Where would you draw the line?
They are scattered around the globe, serving our country…deployed or waiting to be deployed to places like Iraq and Afghanistan. They are lonely, far from home and facing more uncertainties in a day than most of us ever do. Do you think they might need God’s word? Faith Comes by Hearing Ministries has been distributing audio bibles for many years, and just recently they launched a new idea to reach our troops with the word of God. Its the Military Biblestick, an MP3 player about the size of a pack of gum, pre-loaded with a dramatized audio New Testament. Almost 40 thousand of these devices have been distributed, but there is a long waiting list.
Today on Truthtalk Live, guest host Steve Noble welcomes John Wilkie and Brad Fisk to talk about this exciting Military Biblestick project….and the best news is you can help.
Your gift of 25 dollars underwrites the cost of one of these Military Biblesticks…perhaps you can fund an entire squad of 12 soldiers over this next year at $25 a month…or a company of 100 soldiers for $2,500.

They are designed to get your attention, but our guest today on Truthtalk Live has a problem with the false messages, half-truths and poor theology of church marquees.

He is a graduate of Fruitland Baptist Bible Institute and Southeastern Baptist Theological College.
He has served as associate pastor at The Master’s Church in Burlington, NC since 2002. It’s Friday, and while that should be bonus enough for you…..wait there’s more!
Stu has lost his voice today, but we found enough of it to bring you bonus coverage from some of our best recent shows.
For times like these we keep the recorders going after Truthtalk Live goes off the air and we captured some conversations you don’t want to miss.
Should Muslins be allowed to build a mosque at groubnd zero…that’s the plan.and Walid Shoebat, a former Muslin talks about why that’s a bad idea.
Stu also visits with Ed Lyons of the Persecution Project Foundation for a ministry update and to find out the latest from the Sudan.
And there’s more of a conversation with Bill Coleman, a missionary to Vietnam. He talks about the single most imporant element of a missions trip.
And why is Corey Paul so passionate about a movie that hasn’t been made yet? You can help him Discover Matt Ryan.
And finally, how can you help keep 1700 orphans from starving to death? Stu visits with Manny Ohonme of Samaritan’s Feet Ministries, and Michael Spencer from DoingMyPart.com
Should we just avoid the topic? Engage the issue directly?
How much like the world are we really? What do we watch? What do we allow our children to watch? Are we being desensitized to our crumbling culture?
The questions just get harder..and the answer, says today’s guest host Keith Deltano is to DEFY CONFORMITY!
Keith is a teacher , author, public speaker and comedian. he uses Christian comedy to go where others fear to tread.
If you’re in the southeastern U.S. , you’ll have a chance to see Keith LIVE His show is called “Defy Conformity- because normal is boring – a look at sex, peer pressure and culture.” He’ll be atFaithwalk United Methodist Churchin Gibsonville, NC on Sunday, July 11th at 7:00 p.m. The church is located HERE.

Do you think that if you were to be convicted of a sex offence, that you should expect anyone from your Church to ever come and visit you. How about your Pastor? Do you feel at least your Pastor would come and visit you if you really messed up and got caught selling adolescent pornography? How about your Old youth Pastor? Would your Old youth Pastor ever write you a letter you if you were sentenced to 5 years for selling cocaine. How about your small group? Would your small group come to your sentencing hearing if you were caught embezzling from your company?
Does your Church visit its members who have fallen and have gone to prison or has your church turned its back on your members who have been incarcerated? Do you know if anyone is visiting, writing, encouraging?
Matthew 25 (New King James Version) 41 “Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: 42 for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink; 43 I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’ 44 “Then they also will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’ 45 Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’ 46 And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”
You may say,”my church has a jail and prison ministry, we are there every week reaching the lost”. Is that what Jesus is referring to in this passage; reaching the lost?
What did Jesus mean by, “inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.”?
Is it old fashioned for a young man to ask the father for permission to marry his daughter?
Or should the standard be even higher?
Stu has FOUR daughters so this is a subject that is of great interest to him. He wants to know what you think and we’ll open up the phone lines (866) 34-TRUTH and take your calls.
And to your left is Voddie Baucham’s book “What He Must Do If He Wants To Marry My Daughter” a Stu recommended resource. Just click on the book cover to order.

And is there a conflict between Christian Zionism and Christian evangelism of the Jewish people.
Join guest host Dr. Michael Brown , host of the Line of Fire broadcast and president of FIRE School of Ministry, as he tackles a tough issue and takes your calls.

Many going off to college learn the Greek alphabet and how to hold their liquor. Sad but true…But today you’ll meet a young man who wants to change all that.

On the regional and global level, Nabil is on the Executive Committee of the European Baptist Federation (EBF) and has recently been appointed as the Vice President Elect for the Baptist World Alliance (BWA).

In the Galilee seaside village of Kibbutz Ginosar, an historic archaeological discovery was made on January 24th, 1986. The discovery rocked the worlds of faith, history and archaeology.
Many say miracles occurred during the both the discovery and recovery. Leaving us with The haunting question; was this The Jesus Boat?
An extremely rare “moonbow” (a lunar rainbow, created by light reflecting off the moon’s surface) appeared to Dr. Cohen during the rescue. The long drought-parched Galilee region was deluged with rain almost immediately upon the boat’s discovery. During the rescue, major “political,” personal and scientific conflicts were quickly settled; the seemingly impossible race against the clock was won; the shortages of money, manpower, and workable rescue solutions were solved; and never before seen cooperation and assistance was rendered continuously from kibbutz members, workers, sponsors, and government agencies.
And then we have this key fact: If this boat had been discovered even thirty years earlier than 1986, the basic scientific knowledge necessary to rescue and permanently preserve this boat would not have existed. Despite these odds, the fact that this 2,000 year-old boat is on exhibit today must be seen as a miracle?
Alon Kossonogi
One of three sons born to Doron and Gonny, Alon was named after his grandfather, Yigal Allon, who with David Ben-Gurion and others was one of the co-founders of the State of Israel. Alon envisions bringing the “Jesus Boat” story to the world through books, films, television specials and a traveling exhibit. Alon hopes people everywhere will come to know the relevance of the Jesus Boat.

If God does not exist then morality is merely a fairy tale on the level of Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny. If God does not exist then there is nothing inherently wrong with abortion, homosexuality, racism, greed, theft, slavery, pedophilia, rape, murder or even genocide.
For too long we have been trying to suppress cultural symptoms without addressing the real cause–our culture’s view of God.

Stu Epperson, Jr. has four daughters and he’s afraid…He’s very afraid.
The words “I love you” are bandied about by junior high, googly-eyed teens and , in their defense, they are only parroting back a phrase that is thrown cheaply around in the media and our culture.
When should the word “I love you” be spoken. When there are plans for a wedding? Or is that taking it to the extreme? Stu wants to know what you think before those words spoken to one of his daughters.
Oh, and while we’re on the subject of romance…Here are a couple of Joshua Harris books that you might finding interesting.

Every one of us will experience suffering. Many, including the people of Haiti, are experiencing it now. As we’ve seen in recent years, evil and suffering are very real in our world, present and close to each of us.
In such difficult times, suffering and evil beg questions about God -Why would an all-good and all-powerful God create a world where suffering and evil exist.
Some are quick to say that suffering and evil proves there is no God…
Best-selling author Randy Alcorn challenges the logic of disbelief and brings a fresh, realistic and thoroughly biblical perspective to the issues these important questions raise.
Today, guest host Steve Noble, host of the nationally-syndicated radio program Called to Action This Week wants to know what you think.
The Silver Ring Thing is a unique para-church youth ministry that promotes the message of purity and abstinence until marriage.
The ministry’s vision is to create a culture shift in America where abstinence becomes the norm rather than the exception.

On today’s program guest-host Steve Noble, host of his own nationally-syndicated radio program Called to Action This Week welcomes Jason Burt of The Silver Ring Thing and they’ll take your calls.

From sectarian prayer to wearing a Christian t-shirt, the ACLU is on the prowl and clamping down on forms of religious expression.

They’ll talk about some of the hot issues and take your calls.
Read Stu’s Article:
Even the United States Congress has opened with these offensive ’sectarian’ prayers for over 140 years.
Commissioners, please stand with us.The voters and the taxpayers of Forsyth County in protecting the right to freedom of expression. Freedom is always worth the price it takes to defend it!
It cost our founders a lot more than a few taxpayer dollars; many lost their very lives. Let’s send the ACLU bullies home so they can go back to defending porn and stop destroying prayer!
You don’t hear as much about Haiti these days. The news media has moved on to “fresher” stories, but the devastation remains. What’s happening with relief efforts? What about the donations you sent? How are they being used…and are they still needed.
Today, guest host Steve Noble, host of his own nationally-syndicated radio program Called to Action This Week welcomes Dr. J.L. Williams, President of International Missions for Impact for Hope . Dr. Williams has spent the last 10 days in Haiti accessing critical needs.
TODAY ONLY- CALL (877) 34-TRUTH.
The devastation being suffered by the people of Haiti as a result of the massive earthquake there is beyond imagination. Impact of Hope International is ready to assist in every way we can, but we need your help.
On Today’s Show Robby Dilmore AKA The Christian Car Guy talks with Reba Bowman about Battle Ready Mom’s Raising Battle Ready Kids. Call in with your Battles .
Reba is a nationally know speaker for women and founder of Dare For More.
At a very early age Reba Bowman accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior. She was very blessed to be raised in a Christian home by loving parents who taught her to love the Lord with all her heart, soul, and mind.
Reba left for college with goals of becoming a college coach and professor and for fourteen years that is exactly what she did. She coached women’s volleyball and basketball at the college level and taught psychology and counseling courses. In 1996, she became the Dean of Women at a leading Christian University. For five years she poured her heart into the girls on campus and God began to move in a special way in her own heart. As she saw the struggles of college girls and the many difficult choices they had to make, God began to impress upon her heart the need for someone to go and talk to the parents. By the time they entered college, so many girls had made many poor choices and were struggling in their relationship with their parents and with the Lord. Wouldn’t it be great to talk to the parents of young children and help them “get in” with their kids? Wouldn’t it be great to help and encourage parents who are struggling with their teenager now? And best of all, wouldn’t it be great to help teenage girls all across the country find a way to open up the communication lines between them and their parents and them and the Lord?
Why not channel gifts from one to another? Aren’t we commanded to give, or is it bad etiquette? Today, Stu wants to free you from the guilt of re-gifting.
Here are some ways to re-gift without fear!
1. You think re-gifting is totally tacky, but you secretly hope there might be a polite way to get rid of that hideous scarf your Aunt Edna gave you.
2. You’re a chronic re-gifter, and you need some new ideas to get you through the holidays.
Call in today with your thoughts and opinions. If you have ever been “victim” of re-gifting call in as well. We also look forward to your comments here!
Is there such a thing as “Holy hip hop”? Would you rather have your children listen to 50 cent, T-Pain, and Lil Wayne or family friendly rap such as Toby Mac, KJ-52, or the guy on our show today known as J.O.T.?
J.O.T. is the founder of Soul-Full Productions. J.O.T. is a Winston-Salem, N.C. native and is now bringing God’s word to the youth through Christian rap. Let’s face it. It’s hard to get young people to listen to Southern Gospel music so why not bring them music they can relate to with the exellent message of Jesus Christ? Today we will be giving two copies of his CD away! If you have questions feel free to call-in at 1-866-34-TRUTH (87884)! As always thanks for listening and we look foward to reading your comments!
Personhood - It’s on the cutting edge of the pro- life movement and it could be the key to nullifying abortion provisions in President Obama’s health care plan.
Backers in 32 states are now acting to find sponsors for “personhood” statutes or constitutional amendements to include them on 2010 ballots and Bob Enyart is leading the charge.

Voodoo worshippers in Haiti are a common sight. Millions of Haitian people live under bondage of voodoo power and witchcraft.
But there is no darkness where the light of the gospel of Jesus Christ cannot shine.
On today’s edition of Truthtalk Live, guest-host Robby Dilmore (aka) “The Christian Car Guy” welcomes Pastor Ignace Augustin.
It may seem hard to believe, but Pastor Ignace (seen here with with his family) was once caught up in voodoo worship and witchcraft himself. Pastor Ignace came face to face with gospel and was not only radically changed, the Lord opened a door for him to go to bible college in the U.S.
After graduation, he returned to Haiti and founded Bethanie Evangelical Mission. Today the mission supports an orphange, medical clinic, bible school and is also involved in radio ministry, well-digging and reaching the Haitian people with the gospel.
Sadly, North Carolina, unlike 36 other states, does not have a law on the books allowing prosecutors to charge defendants with killing or injuring an unborn child when they attack a pregnant woman.
Although the culprit may serve jail time for the death or injury to the mother, there is no punishment and no justice for the crime committed against the baby.
Today on Truthtalk Live, Stu Epperson, Jr. Talks with NC Representative Dale Folwell about a pending unborn victims bill in North Carolina and they’ll share some shocking statistics.
When’s the last time you heard a sermon about hell? Has the modern church abandoned the subject in order to attract and keep members? Is it enough to preach the love of God?
As Christians we know that hell is real and the bible is full of references to the lake of fire, the eventual abode of those who reject Jesus Christ as savior. In fact, Jesus spoke as much about hell as he did about heaven.
So what do you do when you’re presenting the gospel? Do you ignore the subject of hell or do you “scare” people toward the kingdom.

If you believe Carlton Pearson the answer to that question is an emphatic yes….Oh, and that potentially includes Satan as well.
No stranger to controversy, Bishop Pearson was once a rising star in evangelical circles until he embraced his doctrine of inclusion, similar to Universalism. He was denounced as a heretic by African-American Pentecostals and he eventually lost his once thriving church in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
But Bishop Pearson is back. A couple of years ago he was accepted as a minister by the United Church of Christ and now is an interim minister at a Chicago-based temple affiliated with the “New Thought” movement.
Today on Truthtalk Live we take you back to a debate Stu Epperson, Jr. had with the controversial religious leader . You’ll want to call in…but don’t. This is a pre-recorded program. Feel free, however, to leave us your comments here.

What if I’m going in to witness or pass out some tracts? Or get some wings to go?

What should Christian make of the rapidly spreading speculations that the world will end on December 21, 2012?
The ancient Mayans were expert astronomers and their advanced calendar cycles predict 12/12/2012 as a catastrophic day of apocalypse.
No longer just the obscure talk of fringe new age groups or prophecy enthusiasts, the interest in 2012 and the end times has gone mainstream and is now part of the pop culture with books, websites, iPhone apps and a major Hollywood motion picture (watch trailer below).
Missing in the furor, however, is a biblical perspective. In his new book “2012, the Bible, and the End of the World”, best-selling prophecy expert and evangelical pastor Mark Hitchcock explores a fascinating last days controversy that is gaining the attention of millions all over the globe. Stu Epperson, Jr. talks to Hitchcock about his new book and takes your calls. If you can’t get through at (866) 34-TRUTH, feel free to leave your comments here.

Do you need a church building to “do church”? Is it the height of coolness to have church in a movie theater ..or a bowling alley…coffee shop or even a bar?
Will people come to “church’ in a non-traditional setting who wouldn’t darken the doors of a church building.

But God is doing an amazing work across India through organizations like Body of Christ Ministries International. We’ll hear some of those stories on today’s edition of Truthtalk Live.

Michael Lovic (left with Stu) was diagnosed with stage four colon cancer. He lost 60 pounds during his battle and his surgery but never his smile…or his faith.
Today we’ll hear his story and also meet the Sunday school teacher who walked with him every step of the way.

It began when Tim & Jody Cross went on a short term missions trip with their church in the spring of 2000. Within one year, they had sold their house, two cars and much of their furniture and moved overseas. After serving as missionaries in Belgium and London , they returned to the United States and began praying about what God would have them do next.
Instead of returning to the mission field overseas, God brought the mission field to them. Tim & Jody have started a new ministry to newly arriving refugees to this country.
Several months ago Open Arms Refugee Ministries welcomed its first refugee family to the United States. today more than 100 Iraqi’s meet together weekly for worship in their own language. Dozens of refugee children are seeing bible stories unfold before their eyes for the first time.
Tim & Jody are affiliated with the North American Mission Board. Watch a short video interview with Tim & Jody HERE. And a video produced by “World Relief” features many of the refugees in Winston-Salem, NC is located HERE.
There’s a lot of buzz surrounding this new Christian film. It’s doing very well in theaters around the country and, more importantly, it’s changing lives.

How did the movie affect you? We’d love to hear. And if you haven’t seen the movie yet, why not show Hollywood that there is a market for quality Christian entertainment. And take a unsaved friend with you.

You’ve seen them before and maybe you have a few in your closet. Are they effective ways of communicating the gospel message or do they turn people off?
Our own Stu Epperson went on a search for “faith-based” t-shirts and he didn’t have to go far.
Vic Kennett is a “believer” in Christian t-shirts and other faith based-merchandise. He founded Kerrusso in 1987 when he was 23. By 2008 he had shipped his 10 millionth t-shirt. Effective? According to Impressions Magazine, a graphic t-shirt will be read as many as 3,000 times.
“Even if one of of our shirts is read by only 100 people each, Kennett says, “then we’ve helped preach the gospel nearly a billion times.”
Put the word “t-shirt” in the subject line. Randomly selected e-mail winners will receive a “Fearless” t-shirt based on Max Lucado’s new book and a copy of Alex McFarlands book “Stand –Core Truths You Must Know For An Unshakable Faith”
Cuba has many faiths, representing a widely-varying culture. Though Christianity is the dominant faith, it is often a religion of tradition instead of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Over the years, Cuba has become officially atheistic and restrictive of religious practices. Some restrictions have been eased, but life is still difficult for believers and many Cubans are unexposed to the gospel message.
Through radio programming, God can place His words in the ears of people searching for answers, who are then inspired to seek out local believers and find the ultimate answer in Jesus Christ.
And what does transformation look like in your home, your workplace, your city, your nation, your world.
